Producer / Engineer
For a number of years starting around 2006, I have worked Producing and Recording other Artists and Songwriters and helping them reslease their own Music .
This work i realy enjoyed for the most part and i struck up some good friendships along the Journey . I set up Paul Woodward Studios with a view to provide a decent demo studio or project studio that wouldnt break the bank for bands . It was a Budget friendly environment where bands could start to Demo their songs and gain recording valuable experience. The Studio was aimed at Musicians who simply could not afford to go to a top professional Studio .My space was an industrial unit it wasnt sound proofed it was rustic and DIY, but because the Studio had its own vibe and the recordings sounded not bad considering its limitatations as far as equiptment ect,it was still a fairly productive location.
It was not long before i was recording Eps and Full Albums as well as Eps and Demos for Irish independent Artists . Below i have listed some of the Artists / Songwriters and Musicians i have had the pleasure to have worked with and each project wss fun and productive and indeed a few of the talents went on to achieve their own milestones on their own personal musical adventures , be it playing big venues or getting a recording contract some appeared on Xfactor in England and other TV shows and Radio and toured and played Festivals others made great Albums and started family’s and life took priority others still play ,still write and love it still.
I like to think Paul Woodward Studios was a community of like minded souls who shared one thing in common a passion for music .
Occasionaly ill bump into to a musician who either rehesrsed or recorded in the Studio and they alwsys say it was a good time and they have fond memories .
The Foundation for my recording studio was formed from when i worked for Apple Rock Studios in Dublin in the 2000s , and it fair to say was inspired by the Communal Ethos of that studio and the great people who worked there and indeed still work in various areas around the Arts in Ireland today . It was a fertile spawning ground .
So yes and now without further a do here are some of the Acts i have worked with, you can find the music at the usual online outlets .
Some of the music may be harder to get as its more then 10 to 20 years old but i have a lot of it as i kept for my own personal archive. If anyone is intrested in the artists and recording you can send me a message or reach out to me on paulwoodwarddublin@gmail.com
I will find out more info on where to get it and also if you would like to hear my own stuff likewise send me an email i will always reply thanks .
